Noah's Ark Coloring Pages: Animals, Rainbow & the Big Boat
The story of Noah, four printable scenes, and tips for teaching kids about God's rainbow promise.

Noah's Ark is the very first Bible story most kids fall in love with — a giant boat, every animal you can imagine, and a rainbow at the end. A Noah's Ark coloring page turns that excitement into a quiet moment of focused learning.
The story in 60 seconds
God asked Noah to build a huge boat. Noah obeyed and brought two of every animal on board. After 40 days of rain the floodwaters covered the earth, but Noah, his family, and the animals were safe. When the water went down, God placed a rainbow in the sky as a promise to never flood the whole earth again.
Noah's Ark activities for kids
- Animal matching: draw a second animal next to each one to make pairs.
- Rainbow promise: color the rainbow in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet — and talk about what God promised.
- Floating boat craft: cut out the ark, glue it to a paper-plate "ocean", and add cotton-ball clouds.
Bible verses for the lesson
- "Noah did everything just as God commanded him." — Genesis 6:22
- "I have set my rainbow in the clouds." — Genesis 9:13
