New Testament
Baptism of Jesus
Matthew 3:13–17
John the Baptist was baptizing people in the Jordan River when Jesus came to be baptized too. As Jesus came up out of the water, the Holy Spirit came down like a dove, and God's voice from heaven said He was so pleased with His Son.
"This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased."
