Parables
The Prodigal Son
Luke 15:11–32
A young man took his share of his father's money and wasted it all far from home. When he came back hungry and ashamed, his father ran to him, hugged him, and threw a big party. Jesus told this story to show how God welcomes us back.
"But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him."
